I have decided to delete the posts about the Degrade / Grindstone imaginary feud...it was getting out of hand. Although i honestly do appreciate the loyalty and tenacity of some of the Grindstone fans. Its really nice to know that someone out there likes what we are doin!! BUT , I don't want the band talked up by bashing another band.
We play music for the same reason they do...because we love to play. Its all about the fun , and when ya take the fun out of its not the same. This board was created for us to share what was going on with the band and as a voice for the fans and visitors. But when that voice gets rude and condescending it is no longer welcome here because it creates problems for us all.
Please fell free to post what you want to say , but bashing Degrade or other bands/individuals on here will be deleted as soon as i come across them. Repeated abuse will have your ip bannded from the board.

Well here we are the beginning of something. We have 9 of our own tunes recorded and a recent show under our belt. The feedback so far has been good but I'm anxious to see where we will go with this. The November 5th show at Teazers was a lot of fun and it was nice to see the crowd and remember that this is something greater than a weekly escape to a garage for binge drinking and rhythmic therapy. Although both make this worthwhile.

The first 3 songs that you guys have so far are amazing. I like how they have a bar sound to them, but sound professional at the same time. Keep up the great work guys. Grindstone rocks!!!

Thanks for the compliment!! Its hard to get exactly what you want in only six hours of studio time, but we are very greatfull to Ron for doing what he did. Steps to help us out.. Step 1. Playing the memory card I see, hehe. No prob Derek. By the way, I went to the link you posted and voted for all three songs.
So, any idea when you guys will be playing again? Hopefully it doesn't happen on the same night my hockey team plays again, lol. Although it was awesome listening to you guys play, and watching my team win, hehe

Thanks for voting man..every little bit helps out....
As far as playing we will be doing Steriophonic 2006 at Mount Allison in Feb sometime..not sure when just waiting for our time slot and stuff.
I'll be sure to post it when i know.

Happy New Year everybody. It was a lot of fun at Teazers on Boxing Day, great energy on the floor, nice to see so many faces rocking out and those cuties shaking their booties was very nice. Hope to see everyone again at future shows we are sure to do hopefully we'll have a cd release party in the not too distant future. ;D

I have to say it's great to see a song of ours on a count down doing well. The cd release/halloween party was a lot of fun and since it we have been having fun selling cds. I'm sure we'll be scheduling some shows soon and I can't wait to get out and hit the stage again.
